           GPS stand for Global Positioning System.The GPS is a satellite based navigation system.It is freely accessible to anyone with the help of GPS receiver.It allows ground users to determine their exact location,velocity in all weather condition around the world.it is mainly used to track vehicles and follow the best route from one destination to another destination by airlines,shipping firm,courier companies,driver etc.

HISTORY OF GPS



          The U.S. Department of Defence initially developed this system,which was basically designed to help soldiers and military vehicles but after that it is reachable to everyone who contain GPS receiver.In 1960,the first GPS was created to help the ship of the U.S. Navy in navigation the ocean accurately.

USAGE OF GPS



  1. Widely it is used to ascertain the accurate position of the vehicle.
 2. It is used to navigate the one location to another location.
 3. It can locate the act of moving of an object or a person.
 4. It is use to design the maps of the world.
