WHAT IS X-RAY
X- rays make up X- radiation. It is a form of high energy electromagnetic radiation. X- rays wavelengths are shorter than those of uv rays and longer than gamma rays. It is also known as Rontgen radiation .German scientist Wilhelm Roentgen discovered it on 8 Nov ,1895.He named it X- radiation which is popularly known as X- rays.USES OF X- RAY
The X- ray most commonly used in radiography to help in detect or diagnose the disease which are as follows -1. To detect bone fracture
2. To detect the infections such as Pneumonia,tuberculosis etc
3. To detect the calcification like kidney stones or vascular calcification.
4. To detect some tuners.
5. To detect the Arthritis in joints.
6. To detect the bone loss such as osteoporosis.
7. It is used in dental treatment like to detect the root infection.
8. To detect the digestive problem.
9. To detect the blood vessel blockage.
Apart from the above uses of X- ray it is also used to diagnose of other diseases also.
