WHAT IS IVF

       IVF stand for In Vitro Fertilization. It is an assisted reproductive technology commonly known as IVF. It is the process of fertilization by extracting egg from women, retrieving a sperm from men and then manually combining an egg and sperm in a laboratory dish. After fertilization of egg it becomes embryo(s) and it is implanted to the uterus.

ADVANTAGE OF IVF

     IVF can be used to treat infertility in the following conditions 

 1. In case of blockage or damage of fallopian tubes.

 2. In case of male infertility like decrease in sperm count or decrease in sperm motility.

 3. In case of ovulation disorder in women ,premature ovarian failure or uterine fibroids.

 4. In case of removal of fallopian tubes.

 5. In case of unexplained infertility.

 6. Individuals with genetic disorder.
