FULL FORM OF RNA
WHAT IS RNA
The full form of RNA is Ribonucleic Acid. RNA is one of the major biological macromolecules that is essential for all living things. It performs various important biological roles related to protein synthesis such as transcription, decoding, regulation and expression of genes.
TYPES OF RNA
There are mainly three types of RNA molecules which are under below
1. Messenger RNA ( m RNA)
2. Transfer RNA ( t RNA)
3. Ribosomal RNA ( r RNA)
FUNCTION OF RNA
RNA has various biological roles such as coding, decoding, regulation and expression of genes. Some RNA molecules play an active role within cells by catalysing biological reactions, controlling gene expression,or sensing and communicating responses to cellular signals. One of these main process is protein synthesis,a universal function in which RNA molecules directs the synthesis of protein on ribosomes. This process uses transfer RNA molecule to deliver amino acid to the ribosomes, where ribosomal RNA when link amino acid together to form coded proteins.
