IAS:-
IAS Stand for Indian Administrative Service .It is one among the three services Indian Police Service(IPS) and Indian Forest Service (IFS).Member of this service serve the government of India as well as the individual states.It establish on 26 Jan 1950, as Indian Administrative Service,earlier it was known as Imperial Civil Service which was establish in 1858 during British rule.
ELIGIBILITY TO BECOME IAS OFFICER;-
QUALIFICATION;-
1. Candidate must pass the bachelor degree from any recognised universities.2. Who possess the professional and technical qualification equivalent to bachelor degree recognised by government or its equivalent are also eligible to apply.
AGE -
The candidate must have attain the age of 21 year maximum age is 32 years.Certain age relaxation is given to some category which are as follows-
(a) For other backward Castes (OBC),the upper age limit is 35 years.
(b) For Scheduled Castes(SC) and Schedule Tribes (ST),the age limit is 37 year.
(c) For defence services personnel disabled in operation during hostilities,the limit is 40 years.
