FULL FORM OF BAMS

             Full form of BAMS is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. It is undergraduate degree awarded in the field of medicine in Ayurvedic.

COURSE STRUCTURE OF BAMS

Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery course is five and half year including one year internship.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR BAMS

          The candidates who are seeking to get admission in BAMS should have completed 12th class. The student is required to pass the state or national level BAMS entrance exam.

SCOPE OF BAMS

        A students who have completed the BAMS degree is designated as Ayurvedacharya. He can use the title "Doctor" upon registration as a medical practitioner. BAMS degree holder candidates have the following area to work -

  1. To do general practice or work in hospital administration
 2. To work in clinical research field
 3. To work as a herbal products manufacturer
 4. To work as a Ayurved consultant
 5. To work as a health supervisor
 6. To work in Medical Tourism

      Apart from above work opportunity degree holders have various others work opportunities.
