                   Ooty ia a resort town, in southern India's Tamilnadu state. It was founded by Britishers as a summer resort. Its natural environment attracts tourist and it is a popular summer destination. Aranmore Palace in Ooty, served as the summer capital of the Madras Presidency.

       Best time to visit Ooty is from October to June because in the winters it is colder than other part of the south India. In the month of October to June the temperature is remains around 25 degree which offer a pleasant weather.

NEAREST RAILWAY STATION TO OOTY

       Main railway station is Chennai,Coimbatore,Mysore and Bangalore. From these station there are several trains to go Mettupalyam which is the nearest to Ooty. The distance of Ooty from Mettupalyam is approx 40 km. One can take cabs or avail bus service to reach Ooty.

NEAREST AIRPORT TO OOTY

       Coimbatore is the nearest domestic airport. From here Ooty is approx 88 km far. One can take taxi or bus to reach Ooty from airport.
