WHAT IS AD

          Full form of AD is Anno Domini.It is a medieval Latin term which means "in the year of our lord".This term is used to represented the year after the Christian God Jesus Christ.

OBJECTIVE OF USING AD


        The main purpose of using BC/AD is to create a dating system which can make the birth of Jesus Christ the mid point of the world history.It is believed that Jesus was born around 6-4 BC.Hence according to this dating system 200 BC means 200 years before Jesus was born and 300 AD means 300 years after Jesus was born.
