WHAT IS CAT

         Full form of CAT is Common Admission Test. It is a competitive test which is conducted by Indian Institute of Management to provide admission for various management programs for IIM and Non -IIM institute.It is the most popular management aptitude test because this test is accepted by most of the renowned management institutes of India.

PATTERN OF EXAMINATION



       It is a computer based exam which includes the following -
1. Reading comprehensive in English
2. Quantitative Ability
3. Data Interpretation
4. Verbal Ability and Logical reasoning
5. Analytical Reasoning

ELIGIBILITY TO APPEAR IN CAT EXAM



     The minimum qualification to appear in CAT examination is Graduation from any recognised university.

SCOPE OF CAT EXAMINATION



     Passing the CAT exam is the only way to get admission in Indian Institute of Management or other renowned management colleges.Apart from passing the CAT exam,institutes have their own parameter to select candidates.The common parameters which are usually considered along with CAT score are written test,group discussion,personal interview,work experience etc.
