WHAT IS ETC

      ETC stand for Et cetra. It is a Latin word which is used in the place wher continuation is required in similar terms. This Latin word is adopted in English.

       With the undermentioned  example it can be understand -

  For instance in grocery shop keeper sells rice,pulses,flour,gram etc. Here etc is used which means there is no need to write all the items sold by grocery shop keeper,after using etc it is understood that he sells all items related to grocery.
