WHAT IS EWS

       The full form of EWS is Economically Weaker Section. EWS is a subcategory of people of India who belongs to general category and whose annual income is less than 8 lakh and do not belong to any other reserved category such as SC/ST/OBC.
      The meaning of EWS is defined by the government of India. It is different from economically backward class (EBC) and most economically class (MEBC).The central government has introduced 10% reservation quota for the economically weaker sections of general category candidates.

 CRITERIA FOR EWS

 1. Family income should be less than Rs 8 lakh per annum.

 2. Agricultural land should be less than 5 acres.

 3. Area of the residential flat should be less than 1000 sq ft.

 4.Area of the residential plot should be less than 100/200 sq yards.

      The rules may change by government by time to time.

     NSCCL stand for National Securities Clearing Corporation of India Limited.Now it is known as NSE clearing limited. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of NSE which is responsible for clearing and settlement of all trades executed on NSE and deposit and collateral management and risk management function.It was the first clearing corporation to be established in India and introduced as settlement guarantee before it became a regulatory requirement.
