WHAT IS ICICI

      ICICI stand for Credit and Investment Corporation of India. It was the parent company of ICICI bank which was merged into ICICI bank in 2002.After merger it became ICICI bank. Its headquarter is in Mumbai,Maharashtra,India. This bank is operating almost 17 countries. It is one of the leading bank in private sector of India.

HISTORY

   Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India was founded in 1994,ICICI entered in the banking industry by establishing ICICI bank limited as its banking subsidiary. In 2002 Directors of ICICI and ICICI bank approved the reverse merger of ICICI parent company into ICICI bank subsidiary.
