WHAT IS RAM

        RAM stand for Random Access Memory. It is internal memory of the computer that can be read from as well as written to is called RAM. When there is a talk about memory in connection with computer usually means the RAM.
   
      The Random Access Memory is volatile i.e it contents are lost when power is turned off. It has limited storage capacity.
