WHAT IS SMS

      SMS stand for Short Message Service. It is a communication protocol that allows to exchange text messages between mobile devices. SMS can be sent by mobile phones,smart phones,computers,laptop,tablet etc. All telecommunication companies the facility to send SMS.

     It was originally designed as a part of GSM,but then after it was available on the CDMA phones also. It was developed in the Franco - German GSM cooperation in 1984 by Friedhelm Hillebrand and Bernad Ghillebiert.
