WHAT IS TB

       TB stand for Tuberculosis. It is a infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria.

ABOUT TUBERCULOSIS

     Tuberculosis generally affects the lungs but it can also affect other parts of the body. Most infection do not have symptoms so it is called latent tuberculosis.

SYMPTOMS OF TUBERCULOSIS

          The main symptoms of active tuberculosis are a chronic cough with blood containing mucus,fever,night sweats and weight loss. Infection of other organ can have a wide range of symptoms.

            Tuberculosis is spread through the air when tuberculosis patient of lung infection cough,spit,speak or sneeze.
