WHAT IS WAN

       WAN stands  for Wide Area Network. It is a telecommunication network that spread over a large geographical area for the purpose of computer networking. WAN is normally used by big business and government organisations as for education purpose. WAN is used to relay data to staff,students,buyers and suppliers from various location. This mode of telecommunication allows a business to effectively carry out its daily function irrespective of location. Typically it uses TCP/IP protocol with help of devices like router,switch etc.
