WHAT IS WTO

       The WTO stand for World Trade Organisation. It is the organisation which dealing with the rules of trade between nations.

ESTABLISHMENT AND HEADQUARTER OF WTO

      WTO is established in Jan 5, 1995 replacing the General Agreement on Tariffs and trade (GATT) which was established in 1948. Its headquarter is in Geneva.

FUNCTION OF WTO

     WTO has following key objective -

 1. To set and implement rules for international trades.

 2.WTO provides a forum for negotiating and monitoring further trade liberalization.

 3. It resolves the trade disputes among the nation if arise.

 4. It increase the transparency of decision making process.

 5. It corporates with other major international economic institutions involved in global economic management.

 6. It help developing countries to be benefitted from the global trading system.

     NSCCL stand for National Securities Clearing Corporation of India Limited.Now it is known as NSE clearing limited. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of NSE which is responsible for clearing and settlement of all trades executed on NSE and deposit and collateral management and risk management function.It was the first clearing corporation to be established in India and introduced as settlement guarantee before it became a regulatory requirement.
