WHAT IS WWF

    WWF stand for World Wide Fund for nature. It is an international non -governmental organisation.

ESTABLISHMENT AND HEADQUARTER OF WWF

   WWF was established  on 29 April 1961 and its headquarter is in Gland, Vaud Switzerland.

PURPOSE OF ORGANISATION

     The followings are the purpose of this organisation.

 1.  Improve the conservation efforts,increase the environmental awareness to protect the species which are going to be extinct.

 2. Implementation of community Livelihood Improvement Program to connect the conservation of marine turtles and the community wellbeing.

 3.Conserving the world's biological diversity.

 4. Ensuring the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable.

 5. Promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption.

It is a wholly owned subsidiary of NSE which is responsible for clearing and settlement of all trades executed on NSE and deposit and collateral management and risk management function.It was the first clearing corporation to be established in India and introduced as settlement guarantee before it became a regulatory requirement.
