WHAT IS XML

    XML stand for Extensible Markup language that is used to encode the document that can be recognised by human and machine both. A data is stored in XML format is easy to understand and modify. This format was designed to transport and store data in a specific format. The XML has the three characteristics Simplicity, Generality and Usability. It was invented in the year 1998.
