      ZIP Stand for Zone Improvement Plan. ZIP code is a postal code used by the United States Communication Service. This system was implemented in 1963. It was recommended that the mail travels a lot with efficiency and quickly if senders use the ZIP code in the postal address. The essential format consist of 5 digits.
