WHAT IS GUI

               The full form of GUI is Graphical User Interface. GUI refers to an interface that allows anyone to interact with electronic device like tablet,mobile,computer through graphic elements. GUI uses icons,menus and other graphical representations to display information as compare to text based commands. The graphic element allows user to give commands to the computer and select functions by using mouse or other input devices. Xerox 8010 information system was the first GUI centric computer operating model. It was developed at Xerox PARC by Alan Kay,Douglas Englebert and their associates. The various GUIs are Microsoft window,in mobile devices,the Apple's IOS and Google Android interface are the widely used GUIs.

BENEFIT OF GUI

1.   It contain more information within a program.

 2.  The graphics allow users to use complex program easily.

 3.  The use of graphic image save the time as it does not require editing configuration manually.

 4. It helps user friendly software with a point and click interface.
