WHAT IS TRP

             The full form of TRP is Television Rating Point.It is a tool which differentiate the popularity of a television program.It is used to judge that which television program is viewed most.TRP indicates index of the choice of the people and showed the popularity of the particular program.If a program has the higher TRP it means that the program is viewed large number of viewer.

             TRP data is useful for the advertisers because,they place their advertisement with the motive that if program is viewed by large number of viewers so their advertisement will also viewed by them and it will be beneficial for the business point of view.It is calculated by two method first is frequency monitoring method and second is picture matching technique.
