WHAT IS WBC

                 The full form of WBC is White Blood Cells.It is also called White Blood Corpuscle or Leukocyte.Its main function is to protect the body from infection and diseases.For instance it produce antibodies which destroy the infectious agent like bacteria,germs,viruses etc.

     WBCs produced in the bone marrow and stored in blood and lymphatic tissue.They are divided in two main groups granulocytes and agranulocytes.Granulocytes are of three types Neutrophils,Eosinophils and Basophils.Agranulocytes are of two types Lymphocytes and Monocytes.
