WHAT IS TONSILITIS

-
         Tonsils are the two lymph nodes situated on each side of back of throat. When tonsil becomes infected then this condition is called tonsillitis.

SYMPTOMS OF TONSILLITIS

     The following are the symptoms of the tonsillitis  ---
  
  Difficulty in swallowing
  Sore throat
  Earache
  Fever
  Stomachache 
  Headache
  Tonsils appears red and swollen
   Tonsil may have yellow or white spot

  Tonsils are of three type which are named as acute tonsillitis,chronic tonsillitis,and recurrent tonsillitis.

TREATMENT OF TONSILLITIS

    There are so many treatment part of the tonsillitis which are done under supervision of the doctor such as treatment through antibiotics,Tonsillectomy etc. But we will see home remedy which will help in reduce throat pain and swelling --

  • Plenty of water should be taken
  • Warm saline gargle frequently
  • Avoid smoke
  • Adequate rest should be taken 
  • Using of throat lozenges
