WHAT IS OEM

      OEM stand for Original Equipment Manufacturer. It is defined as a company whose manufactured goods are used as components in the products of another company after assembling they sell the finished items to the users.
     In the computer industry,OEM may refer to the company that buys products and then incorporates or rebrand them into a new product under its own company name.
    The concept of OEM can be understand with the following example --
  It can be understand with the basic example with the relationship between an auto manufacturer and a maker of auto parts. The brake cylinders are manufactured by a wide variety of  OEMs. The OEM parts are then sold to an auto manufacturer where it is assembles them into a car. After assembled completely the completed car is then send to auto dealers to be sold to individual consumers.
