FULL FORM OF STBT

       STBT stand for Sell Today Buy Tomorrow. In this traders sells the stock today and purchase it back on the next day .In BTST segment the stock is purchased in cash and Future and Option segments. The STBT position can be taken only in Future and Option segments because short selling and holding is not allowed in the equity segment of the stock market. But short selling is allowed in equity segment for intra day only,position must be square off means if trader has sell the stocks in equity segment he has to buy the stock at same day,if he does not to do so then exchange square off position automatically before the market closing.  
      Stock market is a risky place. While taking STBT position the traders needs to be careful. Any wrong analysis of the stock movement may trap the trader. The stock price may move against the speculation of the traders and  ultimately he has to book the loss. It is highly attractive stock market strategies hence one must be careful while trading in STBT segment.
