FULL FORM OF JPEG

    JPEG is stand for Joint Photographic Expert Group. It is a joint working group of International Standardization Organisation(ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission(IEC). It is a standard method of compressing the graphic image.

 USES OF JPEG

          It is used with its file name .jpg or .jpeg. It is used to compress the digital images. When digital images compress some information is lost due to compression. It can reduce up to 5% of the actual size with the loss of some information. JPEG is mostly used to send photograph on the internet because of having its great compression technique. JPEG file forma is supported on the world wide web with the file suffix .jpg.
