JAVA is a general purpose programming language that is class based ,object-oriented,and designed to have as few implementation dependencies as possible .JAVA applications are typically compiled to byte code that can run on any JAVA virtual machine regardless of the underlying computer architecture.
JAVA is an object-oriented language similar to C++,but with advance and simplified features.JAVA is free to access and can run on all platforms.
USES OF JAVA
JAVA is used in different domains,some of them are as follows:
Banking- In banks it is used to deal with transaction management.
Information Technology- Java is designed to solve implementation dependencies.
Retail- Billing application in store/restaurant are tely written in java.
