WHAT IS PDA


PERSONAL DIGITAL ASSISTANT,FULL FORM OF PDA


          PDA stand for Personal Digital assistant. It is a handheld device which has the following functions like computing,telephone/fax,internet and networking features,A typical PDA can function as a cellular phone,fax sender,web browser and personal organizer.It is also termed as a palmtop,hand-held computer or pocket computer.

FEATURES OF PDA



 1. TOUCH SCREEN----------- It may have one or two buttons to create the shortcuts for the app used,else user has to enter a text by touching or using pen-like stylus.

 2.MEMOTY CARD - Latest PDAs have memory card slot and USB flash drive slot.

 3. WIRED CONNECTIVITY-------It has USB cables which is used to connect to a personal computer

 4.WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY-------It has blue tooth and Wi-Fi which are wireless.

 5. It has Pre-installed operating systems are Palm OS,Web OS.

 6. Some PDA may have built-in GPS and some may connect to GPS externally.
