             WHAT IS UNESCO-                      

                      UNESCO is stand for United Nations Educational,Scientific and Cultural Organisation. It is the agency of the united Nations. It is situated in Paris,France. It established on 04 Nov 1946.

 PURPOSE OF UNESCO:-

                    Its purpose is to contribute to promoting International collaboration in education,science and culture in order to increase universal respect for justice,the rule of law and human rights.

                      UNESCO is achieving its goal with the help of six programmes like education,natural science ,social and human science,culture,communication and information. Some projects are sponsored by UNESCO are literacy,technical and teacher-training programme.

                         Besides its support of education and science programme this organisation also involved in protection of natural environment and humanity's common culture heritage.

It is a wholly owned subsidiary of NSE which is responsible for clearing and settlement of all trades executed on NSE and deposit and collateral management and risk management function.It was the first clearing corporation to be established in India and introduced as settlement guarantee before it became a regulatory requirement.
