       ICC Stand for International Cricket Council.It is the global governing body of cricket.


HISTORY OF ICC


       It was founded as the Imperial Cricket conference in 1909 by representatives from Australia,South Africa and England.It was renamed as the International Cricket Conference in 1965.It was renamed again and become International Cricket Council in 1989.

HEADQUARTER OF ICC



      Its headquarter is in Dubai,United Arab Emirates.

RESPONSIBILITY OF THIS ORGANISATION



     The ICC is responsible governance  and organisation of  International cricket tournament.It also appoints the umpires and referees that officiate at all sanctioned Test matches ,one day International and 20-20 Internationals.It promulgate the code of conduct ,which helps in set to professional standard of discipline for international cricket.

      The following tournament organised under supervision of the ICC.

   2.  Women's Cricket World Cup
   3.  ICC T-20 World Cup
   4.  ICC Women's T20 World Cup
   5.  ICC Champions Trophy

It is a wholly owned subsidiary of NSE which is responsible for clearing and settlement of all trades executed on NSE and deposit and collateral management and risk management function.It was the first clearing corporation to be established in India and introduced as settlement guarantee before it became a regulatory requirement.
