WHAT IS ILO

        ILO stand for International Labour Organisation.It is a united nations agency whose motive is to advance social justice and promote decent work by setting international labour standard.

 ESTABLISHMENT AND HEADQUARTER OF ILO

        ILO was formed on 29 October 1919. Its headquarter is in Geneva,Switzerland.

 MOTIVE OF ILO

      The International Labour Organisation has set up a system of international labour standard aimed at promoting opportunity for women and men to get decent and productive work,in condition of equality,freedom,security and dignity.It also provides the technical assistance to other developing nations.

It is a wholly owned subsidiary of NSE which is responsible for clearing and settlement of all trades executed on NSE and deposit and collateral management and risk management function.It was the first clearing corporation to be established in India and introduced as settlement guarantee before it became a regulatory requirement.
