WHAT IS ESR
ESR stand for Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate. It is the test carried out to measure the rate at which red blood cells in a test tube separate from blood serum over time and becoming sediment in the bottom of tube.
This test is carried out to detect the following disease -
1. In case of infection
2. Cancer
3. Autoimmune diseases
4. Rheumatoid arthritis
5. Certain muscle are connective tissue problem
6. In case of inflammation
