WHAT IS GTT
The GTT is stand for Glucose Tolerance Test. This test is designed to assess the body response to glucose. In this test the patient is given glucose solution and blood sample s are taken afterword at intervals to assess how well the body cells are able to absorb glucose. This test is carried out to diagnose type 1 or 2 diabetes,insulin resistance and gestational diabetes.
