WHAT IS LDL
Cholesterol is a fat like, waxy substance. It is found in all parts of body. It helps to make cell membranes some hormones and vitamin D. There are two source from where cholesterol comes in blood. First source is from the food which we eats and the second source is from the liver.
LDL stand for low density lipoproteins. It is a part of cholesterol. LDL is often called bad cholesterol. If the LDL level will be high in the blood it may cause plaque to form in the arteries this is known as atherosclerosis. It is the hardening of the arteries. It may lead to heart disease.
