FULL FORM OF CPR

                                    WHAT IS CPR

              The full form of CPR is Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation. It is a medical word which means "to revive". CPR is a life saving technique used in medical emergencies like heart attack or cardiac arrest. CPR is very effective in case of cardiac arrest and drowning cases where the person is unconscious and there is no breathing and circulation.

                           HOW CPR IS GIVEN

          In case if there is no breathing mouth to mouth respiration is the best option in case of victim is far away from the hospital and there is no any resource to provide breathing. CPR is done to ensure proper blood circulation. There are some steps which must be followed to give CPR and saving life which are as follows-------

 1.  Lift up the chin and tilt the head back till it possible to clear airway because tongue may obstruct the airway if it will not be done. If CPR will be done without following this step it will not be useful.

 2. After that with the help of fingers close the nostrils of the victim.

 3. Place the mouth directly over the victims mouth and blow the air as hard as it can be.

 4. After giving the blow mouth should be removed for allowing the air to be expelled from the lungs.

 5. After giving the mouth breathing chest compression should be given. Chest compression should be 1.5 to 2 inches. This compression should be done at a pace of 100 every minute.

 6. breaths in the victims mouth  and 30 compressions alternatively should be given until patient circulation and breathing starts or medical aid reaches.
