WHAT IS HDL    

      Cholesterol is a fat like, waxy substance. It is found in all parts of body. It helps to make cell membranes some hormones and vitamin D. There are two source from where cholesterol comes in blood. First source is from the food which we eats and the second source is from the liver. 

     HDL stand for high density lipoprotein. It is a part of cholesterol. This type of cholesterol is known as good cholesterol. It helps to remove LDL which is a bad cholesterol from the blood and it also prevent the presence of plaque in the blood vessels.
