                                WHAT IS ADH

            ADH stand for Antidiuretic Hormone .It is a small molecule which is released by the pituitary gland. ADH has an antidiuretic action that that prevents the production of dilute urine so it is called antidiuretic. It is also stimulates contraction of arteries and capillaries and it is also known as vasopressin. The imbalance secretion of this hormone result in the inability to put out dilute urine and it perturb fluid balance  causes nausea,vomiting,confusion,muscles cramp and convulsion.

        ADH constantly regulates and balances the amount of water in the blood. Increased water concentration  increased the volume and pressure of the blood.
