FULL FORM OF CSF

                                    WHAT IS CSF

   CSF stand for Cerebrospinal Fluid. It is a watery fluid which is continuously produced,absorbed and flows in the ventricles within the brain and around the surface of brain and spinal cord. CSF is produced by the choroid plexus,a series of infolded blood vessels that projects into the cerebral ventricles and it is absorbed into the venous system. The CSF is useful to detect the certain disease and it obtained by the procedure called lumbar puncture.
